On the last day of the 4th Forum of advanced technologies, awards were granted in different categories: for the most successful company, for the best student’s work in the field of advanced technologies and for the best young entrepreneurs in the field of advanced technologies.
NiCAT cluster member "Ingsoftware“ was awarded the most successful company and Dusan Cvetkovic from "Badin Soft" company was awarded the best young entrepreneur.
This year, Belgrade Venture Forum will be held from November 26 - 28th in Metropol Palace hotel.
As every year, up to 30 companies will be chosen to pitch. The application is completely free and for those who will be chosen, the pitch on the main stage of BgVF will be completely free.

On 9th, 10th and 11th November, at Faculty of Electronical Engineering, SICEF Hakaton will be held.
Hakaton is 24-hour programming competiton. Competitors are divided in 8 teams composed of 4 members per group. The topic of competiton is known at the beginning of competiton.
In the framework of the Program for Innovation supported by the Innovation Fund, funds were approved in the amount of 2 million Euros for 9 projects.
Of the total of 75 applications, among the companies that received funding, there is also member of NiCAT cluster Photon Optronices with Project „2.5 Ladar Device“.
On 18th and 19th October 2018, in Belgrade, regional tech conference Heapcon will be held. Conference is dedicated to software engineering.
Some of the speakers that will be at the conference: Aron Gupta (Amazon Web Services), Courtney Hemphill (Carbon Five), Martin Splitt (Google), Patrick Kettner (Microsoft) etc.
