In a consortium of 14 partners, on October 15, DualEdu (Implementation of Dual Education in Higher Education in Serbia) was launched, where NiCAT cluster is one of the partners and which is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
Within the framework of the Erasmus Call, on October 15, the BENEFIT project was launched (Boosting the Telecommunications Engineering Profile to meet modern society and industry needs) where NiCAT is one of 15 partners.
Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship of Youth (Startup Center) is opened. Startup Center is located at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering. The Prime Minister Ana Brnabić was also present at the opening ceremony. The aim of the Center is to bring young people closer to the opportunities that open the fourth industrial revolution.

Today Nis Cluster of Advanced Technologies joined the ranks of the European Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition by pledging to train 200 professionals and equip them with high-level digital skills. By doing so, NiCAT has joined numerous other European Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) participating in the #digitalSME4skills campaign launched by the European DIGITAL SME Alliance (DIGITAL SME).
Paul Billington from England recently visited Nis and NiCAT cluster members. Paul sold a digital agency in the UK 10 years ago and now he is involved with several agencies. Also, Paul has relationship with a few clusters in the North West of England.
During his visit, Paul wanted to understand what Nis has to offer in terms of the range skills that can be accessed from the UK. According to this, Paul held meetings with NiCAT cluster manager and few NiCAT clusters members (doing business in PHP and .Net development).
NiCAT Cluster manager recently visited several attractive destinations that are interesting for cluster members. Among them are Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany and Israel.
During the visit, cluster manager held meetings with a lot of useful contacts and currently is working on connecting Serbian diaspora in these countries with cluster members.
