On February 6, 2018, a conference on digitization in the automotive industry (Industry 4.0.) was held in the Business Innovation Center in Kragujevac.
Conference brought together participants from Serbia and Europe from the automotive and ICT sectors. President of the Steering Committee of the NiCAT was one of the speakers.
On Saturday, 3rd February NiCAT cluster and Deli co-working space organized workshop of the INAT Center from Belgrade, with topic From E-migration to digital transformation.
Speaker was Milena Milicevic, founder of the Innovation Attitude Center (INAT Center) and the INAT Summit Educational Project, which develops the skills of dedicated professionals in the IT industry for a global career in Industries 4.0.
NiCAT Cluster and Faculty of Economics started project Market tech. Project aim is to connect people from the economic sector with the hi tech world.
The companies participating in the project are "NIRI Intelligent Computing", "HostingBuY", "LOGIK business solutions" and "IRVAS International".
The Nis Cluster of Advanced Technologies has been selected by the United Nations Development Program UNDP as an institution that will implement courses for .NET and Java programming in the next year.
In the framework of the Program for Innovation supported by the Innovation Fund, funds were approved in the amount of 1 million Euros for 5 projects. Of the total of 100 applications, among the companies that received funding, there are also two cluster members - INGSoftware with Project FamilyPay and Harder Digital Sova with the project "Intensified Day / Night Digital Camera with Image Enhancement".
In a consortium of 14 partners, on October 15, DualEdu (Implementation of Dual Education in Higher Education in Serbia) was launched, where NiCAT cluster is one of the partners and which is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
Within the framework of the Erasmus Call, on October 15, the BENEFIT project was launched (Boosting the Telecommunications Engineering Profile to meet modern society and industry needs) where NiCAT is one of 15 partners.
