On Friday, January 31, an initial meeting was held within the project Improving the capacity of manufacturing companies in the Advanced Technology Sector in the field of CNC Programming which is realized by the cluster member Harder Digital Sova in partnership with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Nis and NiCAT cluster.
The domain of information and communication technology is constantly evolving, thus a new profile of telecom engineer is needed by today’s labour market: a professional trained in the broad ICT domain and who, in addition to the technical skills, can demonstrate also entrepreneurial abilities in order to contribute to the techno-economic society challenges.
On Wednesday, January 29, we attended the presentation of Đorđe Mitić, the representative of Naissus Technologies - cluster member, who presented the work and expertise of this company within an informal gathering of cluster members and friends of the cluster at Think Innovative HUB.
In partnership with Deli space, NiCAT organized the final conference of the project Startup Academy 2 within which the participants could hear 5 innovative ideas, and 3 of the ideas scored best by the committee got certificates for the best startup team and symbolic prizes.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, the Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Ambassador Sem Fabrici, together with the Head of the United Nations Office for Project Services, Mikaela Telatin, visited the NiCAT cluster.
Within the Forum of advanced technology which was held in Nis on 22th 23th and 24th October, NiCAT promoted the BENEFIT project (Boosting the Telecommunications Engineering Profile to meet modern society and industry needs).
