The Register of National Internet Domains of Serbia (RNIDS) and the NiCAT Cluster signed a cooperation agreement

By signing the Agreement on mutual cooperation, 28.10.2022., the future cooperation between the Register of National Domains of Serbia (RNIDS) and the Niš Cluster of Advanced Technologies (NiCAT) was made official. The agreement was signed in order to improve mutual cooperation and joint work on the development of the innovative ecosystem.

The Register of National Internet Domains of Serbia, abbreviated as RNIDS, was established in 2006 with the aim of ensuring the flawless functioning of national Internet domains. Organized as an independent, professional, open, non-partisan, non-governmental and non-profit organization, RNIDS efficiently and transparently manages the Central Registry of national Internet domains .RS and .SRB, in the interest of all Internet users in Serbia.

For a decade since its establishment, the NiCAT Cluster has been working to increase the value and volume of turnover of cluster members on the domestic and international market, strengthen the capacity of companies for technological development and innovation and the development of new technological products, and promote the city of Niš as a favorable location for business in the field of advanced technologies.

The agreement opens up many opportunities for both organizations, which will base their cooperation on the activities of joint work on branding Nis as a destination for the development of digital technologies, raising awareness of the value of national Internet domains, mutual promotion, education and joint participation in development projects, as well as on activities related to establishing cooperation between member companies.
