The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) recognizes digitalization as a strategic direction of development and supports local companies from all industries to approach developed economies through the process of digitalization and adoption of new technologies, and the technology and ICT sector itself to continue growing and developing.
Also, connecting the technological sector with traditional industry, enables the strengthening of the economy in both directions. The SME Finance & Development team of the EBRD, in cooperation with the NiCAT cluster, organized an event and presented instruments of advisory and financial support to small and medium enterprises, which enables SMEs to raise their business to a higher level.
The event was organized as a part of the EU Program for Serbia "EBRD Advisory Support to Small and Medium Enterprises", funded by the European Union and implemented by the EBRD in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia as well as the Instrument for Enterprise Development and Innovation in the Western Balkans (WB EDIF) program, and the Enterprise Expansion Fund (ENEF).
